News from Babcock Hills Veterinary Hospital

Several of our staff members are continuing their education in the veterinary field. Jennifer will receive her certification as a registered veterinary technician this following spring from Palo Alto College. Also, Bianca and Christina are pursuing their education as certified veterinary assistants. We are proud of our staff’s achievements and the high standard of care they provide for your pets.

Dr. Jack Speir, one of the owners of our hospital has retired after 39 years in veterinary practice. He continues to practice a couple of Saturdays a month and assists in special procedures as needed.

Jordan Speir, daughter of Dr. John Speir and Dr. Sherry Knopp, has completed her first year of veterinary school at Texas A & M University. We know she’ll be as awesome as her parents. Who knows? Maybe you’ll see Jordan Speir, DVM on the marquee with her parents in a few years!

Dr. Cloud and Dr. Klein welcomed new additions to their family this past year. Dr. Cloud’s son, Harrison, and Dr. Klein’s son, Corey, were born only four days apart. They will be celebrating their first birthday in October. Happy Birthday Harrison and Corey!

Babcock Hills Veterinary Hospital has transitioned to a new practice management program so we can better care for your pets and communicate with you. One of the things we’re most excited about is having increased access to internet and e-mail communication with our clients. Please make sure we have your e-mail address so that we can better communicate with you regarding your pets care.

Babcock Hills has an e-mail address just for our clients: clients@babcockhills.com. You can use this e-mail address to request prescription refills, make boarding reservations, schedule an appointment or request a call-back by either a technician or doctor when you have questions. Appointment requests for the same day must be made by telephone. Please make sure you provide a telephone number where you can be reached in case we need to get further information to better provide the assistance you need.
